Factors which influence Trail Conditions and perceived differences between a listed Trail Condition Report and rider experiences:


  1. Temperature Changes throughout the day and amount of sun reaching the surface of the trail

  2. Amount of Snowmobile travel on the trails since the Trail Condition Report was made

  3. Groomer activity on the trails since the Trail Condition Report was made

  4. Subjective rider assessment due to differences in riding styles and sled suspensions

  5. Vastly different conditions along the length of a trail


We understand that some of you drive a great distance to ride our trails, so every effort is made to keep our trail conditions up-to-date and as objectively described as possible so you know what to expect when you get here.


Since we are mainly a volunteer organization, we rely heavily on individuals who donate their time, groomer operators and local businesses to give us reports.
